From All Movie Guide
Philip Quentin (Herbert Rawlinson) is an American who travels to forget being dumped by his former sweetheart Dorothy (Eileen Percy). He attends a party at the mansion of Prince Ugo Riccardi (Bertram Grassby) and meets Dorothy again. She announces her impending marriage to the Prince, but Philip recognizes him as a fugitive wanted for a murder years ago in Brazil. An opera singer was killed by her patron, and the Prince had given money to the dead diva. Ugo hears of Philip's warning to Dorothy and sets him up for a duel. Philip is branded a coward when he refuses to participate. When he hears the wedding bells, Philip races to the church to prevent Dorothy from marrying the evil Prince in this plodding adventure.
